I have often wondered what makes a great team.
By great I don’t mean a really good team. I mean “great” in the sense the team achieves success over a sustained period of time.
I have always wondered about the dynamics of such a team.
How did they become so great, what initially inspired them and continued to so.
Where did each individual come from, what life experiences did they bring to the team and how their individual roles contributed to the team success.
Recently I have been chatting to a mate about sports administrators and the key role they play in developing individual players and teams.
He told me I had to watch a particular movie. I did.
Now I am no Bill Collins but if you have ever wondered what makes a great team successful then “Fire in Babylon” is a must watch.
